This is a beautiful hand painted vintage tote bag featuring an interpretation of Jack Kerouac's legendary 1947 hitchhiking map across America, the journey that would help inspire On The Road. Raw, imperfect and beautifully nostalgic, it captures that postwar sense of freedom, restlessness and the romance of the open road. This is not Kerouac's original hand drawn map, but a one of a kind painted homage to it. Please see pictures for more details, even though this bag is not as old as others I have for sale, there are some minor scuffs and pulls on the bag.
