This is a really beautiful Japanese Rising Sun Flag that used to be attached to walkling sticks, which were used to climb Mt. Fuji. This flag is from the 1960's and would look amazing framed in a shadowbox. Please see pictures for details. I put the characters through google translate and it came up as "Mt. FUJI CLIMB" & "COMMEMORATION JOYFUL CONQUEST"
