I am drawn to the beauty of hand painted textiles, and this piece is a true standout - painted by a good friend on aged ticking fabric. The Indigenous Chief beautiful and detailed, made even more compelling by the character of the vintage material beneath it. There are a few subtle pulls in the fabric, but nothing that takes away from its impact. Imagine it framed in a high gloss black frame, vintage yet modern.
